2. No execution, no custody
Unio is a data consolidator. It records and displays information about assets you hold elsewhere; it does not and cannot execute, route, or settle any transaction, and it never holds your money or assets. Buying and selling happens at your own brokerage, exchange, or wallet, entirely outside the platform. Nothing you do inside Unio — recording a decision, casting a vote, tracking a holding — moves money anywhere.
3. Capital at risk
Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of everything you put in. Asset prices move; crypto-assets in particular can be extremely volatile and may lack the protections that apply to regulated financial products. Past performance — including any track record, retro, or score shown in the product — is not a reliable indicator of future performance.
4. AI and data limitations
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and can sound confident while being wrong. Market data, prices, and news shown in the product come from third-party sources and can be delayed or erroneous. The product degrades honestly where it can (showing staleness rather than inventing numbers), but you must verify anything material against primary sources before acting.
5. Your collective, your decisions
Collectives on Unio are member-governed. Every investment decision is proposed, debated, and voted on by the members under their own contract, and carried out by the members outside the platform. Responsibility for those decisions — including their legal, tax, and regulatory consequences — rests with the members, not with Unio.
